The FLYNN EFFECT indicates that with each decade people’s IQ’s continue to improve.

However, the advertising industry keeps going. They are better at seducing us or we are just as gullible as before even though IQ’s continue to increase. The story is that cigarettes are harmful to your health. They have said so for many years. HOWEVER, it took peer pressure and the law to reduce smoking.

How many times will it take before Liberals really understand that the USA is conservative? Even though conservatives are divided at the moment, they will regroup and take control again. A Democrat can not count on doing Liberal activities. If they go a little too far from the center, they die a political death.

Liberals must talk in code. It is a code among themselves.. They must come out for

Conservative things and then not enforce them.

Why? In our culture is the home of people other than slaves that were leaving countries that may have had very authoritarian governments. They associate economic freedom with social freedom even when they want to control others. The immigrants are here to make it big. It is less important to make it big for Liberals but it must also be fair. That is the rub. In trying to make the climb to the top fair, Liberals violate economic freedom.

Additionally, the elections are fixed to generally reward conservative types of people like farmers and ranchers. The electoral system generally means that a candidate has to campaign in numerous lightly populated states. As an example, the state of New York or California has as much population as many Middle Western and mountain states COMBINED. Thus, you can lose an election and still become president of the United States.

Last, the senate has 50 senators. If you live in a small state, your senator is just as powerful or more powerful in the senate as a senator from a state that is bigger than most other countries. The House of Representatives gets less representative as the population increases. The House has stopped growing, but the population has not. Add to that, conservatives can also Gerrymander a state to their advantage. As this is written, it appears that the Democratic Party may gain numerous seats and perhaps the White House. If that is the case, they must act quickly for they only have 2 years. The last time that happened was 1964 and by 66’ Republicans made considerable gains.

The best that Liberals can do is centrist legislation. Go any further and the country will head back to the Right.

MATH AND GIRLS

In 1983, there was a 13 to 1 ratio of boys having scores above 700 on SAT. By 2005, it was only 2.8 to 1. It appears that math is not “hard wired” to males. Even when gene pools are compared as West and East Germany, girls do better than boys. The genes on this one appear to be less important than environment. That does not mean that women and men are exactly the same. They are not. However, this one on math must be put to rest or further study. Girls in the USA know that their Barbie dolls told them “math is tough.”

Abstinence Education appears not to work. However, Abstinence Plus does better, but it should also encourage some values about family. Those kids do well when they are wanted and planned and there is a mom and dad. One may also learn that they are not suited for a family. That is an important lesson too. It is especially important BEFORE having children.
