Soon it will be time to count the census. That means theoretically that every one in the country is counted. Then they are classified by demographics such as age, race, and region of the country and related.

Unfortunately, the census is not very good, because it is hard to get the count on everyone.

There are many reasons, but the most important thing is that at least until lately, so many

monetary functions went to more states than to others. Further, social and business models were based on what assumed to be correct. Now we know better. So, the census should be counted, but another census made by phone and face should be assessed from a large sample. This would make things more accurate. Democrats agree and Republicans would disagree. If the Democrats have their way more minorities and others would probably be counted. Republicans like the way it is without a sample. They stand to keep more power. In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court agrees.

Why is it that Communism triumphed rather than more immediate forms of fascism? Hitler outsmarted Stalin. However, capitalism that emerged after royalty was ruthless.

Communism promised security. Further, Russia became part of the US-Britain / Western Europe allies. Hitler was foolish enough to attack Russia and in the last battle the weather was on the side of the Reds. German weaponry go sot cold that they could no longer fight. Hitler had stretch too far. That was it.

Russia expanded into southern and eastern Europe and at first were reluctantly welcomed. However as the system spread and one party politics lost most became disillusioned with Communism. The 30’s had be a blessing to Communism, prosperity revealed that the system simply did not work.

In the end, there are 3 sources to go in terms of major social and economic organization. That is through individuals, co-ops, or government. So far in the 20^th century most countries now appear to be moving to a mix of individuals (capitalism) and government (socialism.) When you have all of one or the other, something falls out of balance.
