An electronic monitor, the size of a match book is placed in your car and tells your insurance company about your driving behavior. If you’re driving pretty well, you get a discount. If erratic, someday, you may be dropped or rates go up.
New cars also have a black box hidden in the car to monitor collisions.
Further, cameras and spy cams are at busy intersections to take pictures of cars that go through red lights. Pictures show the license number of a car that has broken the law.
