Charles Saxton was a prominent lawyer and died in Broomfield, Colorado, May 31, 2023. His remains were taken to a funeral home at 7290 W. 119 Place in Broomfield. The Funeral home and Coroner would not or could not indicate his cause of death. His relatives were Larry, Jeff, Saxton, Leslie along with Janet Woodward. For the last 8 to 10 years Charles lived in an apartment/ condominium in downtown Colorado. Saxton graduated from Omaha Benson in 1961, Omaha University, 1965, and School of Law, University of Colorado. He earned a number of prestigious awards and recognitions. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and Omaha Delta Kappa, a men’s honorary.
He was cremated and his ashes were spread at Long’s Peak in the nearby area. Chuck was a very intelligent and outgoing individual who skipped a class at Monroe Elementary. He was awarded “Typical Freshman” his first year at Omaha, University in the fall of 1961. He leaves behind a number of friends, fraternity brothers and admirers.
