CHRISTIAN ECCLECTICS REVISIONISM

The most popular form of Christianity is the Bible without error. It is a terrible road to carry one’s self. Rather, if the Bible is seen as an evolving document, one can understand that brutality and related attributed to Jesus and others makes sense.

Jesus was misunderstood. One can see that at least a portion of Christianity sees Jesus as spiritual prophet and others as a son of God. Various books were written about him later, much later, in terms of how a tribal people would see him. Further, we may have the source and technology to view him more gently in the future.

Then there may come a day when leaders of many religions agree to disagree, but tolerate each other. The Bible is not the source to kill, maim, and rape.

Only right wing Christians are not the source of the word. In 2020, the Born Again movement is only 100 years ago. Jesus weeps.
