COWARD
COWARD
Joel Charles Snell
I WAS WALKING DOWN THE SIDE WALK TOWARD 56TH AND CORBY. Rose hill elementary school was at the corner. I usually headed with my friend toward the high school. He seemed nervous. He said that we should go to the back of Armstrong’s duplex and go to a certain garage that was opened and fight some hood who wanted to fight him.
My friend never fought nor encouraged fighting. His opponent was a little taller and it surprised me that he had curled hair. I held my friends books and he took off his coat. The low life was ready and a friend of this guy held his books.
This guy had been in many fights. Further, his friends beat each other and picked on people like my friend. There was no bobbing and weaving. It was just a straight fist to fist. My friend didn’t know what to do and the fight was over in less than a minute. The hood had a lot of experience and went for my friend’s nose. He started bleeding and in a short time, he indicated to the hood that the fight was over. He wiped his face and we headed to school.
That was it. Bullies come from gangs and do crap in school. My town has a bully school and now sends them there. Their girl friends also fight now but not back then. Usually, fights are short unless there is fighting on the ground. The girl friend yelling for her boy friend to win. As she does that her vagina becomes moist.
Now I am a coward. So, it did not occur to me why there was a fight. My friend should have “backed down” It does occur to me that most cowards remember fights, because they are not in them. What does anti-coward mean? It seems to me that soldiers and police are usually the heroes.
Once in a while the anti- bully has to fight. For some reason the good guy wins. The low life is not poverty stricken and may not have a father and starts fighting by middle school. So he is taken out of school and play ground is filled with teachers and coaches and police.
I saw that once. A friend of mine knocked the bad guy out. I drove him home. We had spent the summer watching American Band Stand with Dick Clark. When Annette came on the television, we got erections. So most of us headed home and tried to walk off the hardened penis.
By the way, cowards can get hadrons’ too. There was another way that one can become miserable. You drive next to a young couple at the Drive-In do your best to watch them or watch a black and white suggestive movie.
