DEATH DOESN’T TAKE A HOLIDAY

Christmas and Hanukah along with New Years add up to more cardiac deaths during the holiday season. There are also more non-cardiac deaths.

The reason is the renewed cold, stress of holiday events, feelings of depression compared to childhood memories, and missing doctor’s appointment due to increase social activity.

This time period is called the Happy New Year Heart attack season.
