ENDLESS SUMMER BOX SET

In this box set is a beautiful package for the beginner. This individual is generally very young and is attracted to the Beach Boys. Enclosed are some of the biggest sellers of all time for the group. The songs start from the early 60’s to the late 80’s early 90’s.

With the right price and Endless Summer packaging, it could be a big seller. Additionally, the masters are already in the vault.

ENDLESS SUMMER

This introduces the neophyte to some of the top songs of the group, along with some excellent album cuts selected by Randall Cross.  The gold disc Kokomo version is the best. It is a double platinum seller.

SPIRIT OF AMERICA

Again, the packaging compliments the first CD and this one also works its magic with excellent hits and album cuts. It went gold.

SUNSHINE DREAM

The first two were top ten hits. This one charted but has some of the same art design and includes big hits like Good Vibrations and the Beach Boys Medley.

MADE IN USA

The graphics differ a bit than the previous three. However, the theme is the same. It is a matter of 70’s acid art with 80’s graphics. It went gold as did ENDLESS SUMMER and

SPIRIT OF AMERICA.

GREATES HITS/VOL. 3/BEST OF THE BROTHER YEARS

This is a CD in a sleeve and covers the best of 70’s and 80’s. In other words, the Warner and CBS years are represented here. Some other excellent cuts like Hot fun in the summertime, Under the boardwalk, Love and Mercy, and Imagination might be worthy inclusions.  Further Wipe Out and Still Cruisin’ might help. There may be others.

All are owned now by EMI- Capitol, so it would be relatively cheap to produce and fairly easy to promote to the pre-adolescent consumers. The cover on the BEST OF BROTHER might be changed to compliment the busy child like covers of the 4 CDs.
