Hello! Socialvibes.net joined the World Wide arena in the middle of November 2003. As this is being written, that was 20 years ago. It had 24,000 essays. That is both cut/paste and original material. There were numerous hits.

Some of the stories on that first day dealt with the cell phone, bacteria that can eat flesh, the gay gene and about 6 or 7 other stories.

However, times have changed. We may be entering as a country a new form of government that will not want various opinions. We didn’t have that much, but we want to work with caution. You will find similar stories, but not political ones. However, many or most things have become politicized so indirectly we may have some essays that barely touch on the political. Hopefully, that will be few.

So, we are now in the process of starting a new website entitled56thSt.com/ Hopefully, it will be interesting and yet not troublesome to the new government of our country.
