As I indicated in my 5 BLACK PRESIDENTS synopsis, you must be the judge. I am an academic but I have never taught history. My work was in sociology and social psychology. Therefore I will give you two names and you do the very easy search and then decide for yourself.

The 2 are President Dwight David Eisenhower (Ike) and Vice President Hannibal Hamlin. Eisenhower was the most noted president during most of the 50’s in the USA and Hamblin was the first vice president under Abraham Lincoln. I invite you to read the sources and the criticism of these 2 choices.
