POST LIBERALISM/ REGENERATION
HUMAN NATURE 2.O
Human nature is a very difficult and complicated form of essence. It is in all individuals. It would appear that Liberal theology has lost its footing to Post Liberal and Regeneration.
Liberal theology assumed that humans were basically good. There were exceptions, but humans when cornered reach out to others and for their support.
However, history appears to support a Post Liberal/New regeneration position(s.) This means that at birth, a child is or has some level of selfishness. What is the degree or what is the length and breadth of this self centered position depends upon the interpreter of herself/himself and others.
The regeneration is or can be soft or a soft/hard reorientation. The creation of a utopia is suspect. On the other hand, predatory punishment should not be severe. Further, any guidance of some kind may fail. The person may not be able to place parameters on their own actions.
Authoritarian government grants or promote that it can be safe and orderly. On the other hand, democracy can absorb authoritarian impulse intermittingly to create, safety, order, and expression. It is a shared nuance.
It may be that at a future time, a liberal democracy or social democracy can match the necessary challenges of regeneration.
