STRATIFICATION OF THE PRESTIGE OF PEOPLE AND THEIR SEXUAL ORIENTATION

This is hypothetical. It is like a thought experiment. Or, it may be called a working paper. The question is based on sexual orientation. A good example of women who partake in bi-sexuality is much higher in esteem than men who are bi-sexual. The author’s bias is that sexual  orientation is both nature and nurture. However, the hypothalamus makes a very strong and incredible impact on choice of partners.

Incidentally, sex partner choice also includes age, wealth, and appearance and related. This will not be included here. However, it may be partially embedded in some of the description.

The top of the stratum is the white male who is heterosexual. Although women have gained some power they have so far to go. There is nothing at issue. Depending on the subculture, he must remain celibate until there is a monogamous marriage.

The married female is ranked about here. She has been told repeatedly to find a husband and women chase men. She may have some assertive strategies or more passive ones. She is highly regarded if she has one to two children at the time of this writing. No children have become more acceptable in a mobile society. Each child cost about $250,000

The unmarried female and male who live together with or without children is located about here.

The asexual male who never marries and is not caught with erotica especially of children generally has more power than a female. There may be suspicions about this person, but it is false. He has a low libido, very shy, and does not enjoy the company of children.

The asexual female who never marries is located here. She was not chosen and develops a female network that does things together. She may also be shy and has a low libido.

The non-monogamous male who has many girl friends, but does not commit is in this category  He may have one single girl friend, but it is likely that he has a number of lovers and a lifestyle to support it. He also supports prostitution and erotica.

The gay female should be ranked about here. She has a steady mate and is married. The couple may have adopted a child. Or, they may have used other strategies so that one or both give birth to a child.

The gay male who has married should be approximately here. His male mate and this person may choose to adopt a child.

The polyamorus male has sister wives and is very wealthy to be able to support two or more and their progeny.

The polyamorous female will accept the tension between other females and be happy to not have the pressure of having sex that she does not want.

The dominant polymorus female is rare but she has at least two mates. The male mates work and she does minimum chores because she is exhausted with constant sex. Unless she can establish some firm rules that are abided by the males, she may depart from the relationship. If the males are allowed to have sex with each other, there is a great deal of tension for the female and she may prefer divorce.

The bisexual male who is thought not to be able to marry because he has desire for both sexes should be ranked about here. He may join a polyamorous arrangement, but it usually means that if he is to succeed in a stable mate choice, he must choose one sex or the other. So, he generally remains single or marries into a celibate marriage.

At the bottom is female or male who is involved in constant sex for money. They may make a lot of money, but most work for a pimp who treats them badly and also takes most of their financial resources. The pedophile is also ranked here.

One other observation appears to this author that divorced ranks higher than never married, although there are some exceptions.
