The thrill is gone. You no longer like that tattoo. Further, you risked non-sterile needles and ink to get the thing into your skin. After the infection, you have this monster on you and now you don’t want it.

So what do you do? You go to a dermatologist and they laser it off. It generally takes 6 to 8 visits to get the thing off. That costs $2,000. If you have certain greens and blues in it, the cost goes up because the number of times increases.

What ever pain that you got from getting the tattoo is about the same as it is to have it removed. However, the tattoo was just one visit. Now you have to go 6 to 8 visits. There may be some blistering and scarring.

Perhaps, it is easier to put a bunch of make up on the thing and hope that cover does the job. Many department stores have certain heavy cover for those who have facial scars from auto accidents.
