He Called NVIDIA at $1.10. Now He’s Warning of the Biggest Price Drop in 150 Years
There is a short list of investment analysts in America whose predictions actually matter.
Alexander Green is on that list.
Green is the Chief Investment Strategist at The Oxford Club, one of the most widely followed private investment research organizations in the country. He has been studying markets for 41 years. And in that time, he has built a track record that is difficult to argue with.
He bought Apple at $1. Netflix at $2. And recommended NVIDIA at $1.10 (split-adjusted), long before the chipmaker became a household name.
But now, Green is saying something very different.
For 41 Years, He Has Told Investors to Buy
For the past four decades, he has urged readers to put money into high-flying tech stocks. And his message has been consistent: buy and hold on for dear life.
And anyone who listened to him made a great deal of money.
Which is what makes his current prediction so shocking. For the first time in his career, Green is not warning of a simple bull market… but something that sounds completely different. .
“I believe we are on the verge of perhaps the greatest Price Crash in more than a century,” Green said in a recent presentation to Oxford Club members. “And if history repeats, it could be one of the best things that ever happens to you.”
He is not predicting a garden-variety correction.
He is not talking about a bad quarter or a rough year.
He is talking about something he believes will reshape the economy in ways most investors are completely unprepared for.
The Pattern Hidden in Plain Sight
Here is where it gets interesting.
Think about what has happened to the price of technology over the past 30 years.
Your first laptop might have cost $4,500. Today you can buy one that’s a hundred times more powerful for under $1,000. While a 60-inch flat screen television that once carried a $6,000 price tag now sells at Best Buy for $300.
We’ve seen this kind of thing over and over again…
When a transformative technology matures, prices collapse.
And yet, for most people, life feels more expensive than ever.
Healthcare costs have risen more than 4,000% since the 1970s. Housing in major cities costs 16 times what it did a generation ago. Four months of childcare now costs more than four years of college tuition used to.
But Green says there is a single force building in the economy today that is about to do to those industries what the internet did to the price of a television set.
“If you understand what is going on,” he says, “you could use this to make a small fortune in the coming years.”
The Part That Will Surprise You
Most people hear “AI” and immediately think about NVIDIA or a tech giant like Google or SpaceX.
But Green is not recommending any of these stocks.
“AI is doubling in power every six months,” he says. “The implications for investors are staggering. But whatever you do, don’t buy or hold the leading AI stocks.”
That is a bold statement from the man who called NVIDIA at $1.10.
It is also the kind of statement that, coming from Green, deserves a serious look.
He has recorded a short presentation explaining exactly what he sees coming, which assets are most at risk, and where the real opportunity is hiding, available free of charge.
But he says the window to get positioned ahead of this shift is not going to stay open forever.
