JFK ASSASSINATION
REFLECTIONS ON THE KENNEDY ASSASINATION
(Numerous sources)
Like a number of Americans, I am not an expert in history or the Kennedy assassination. However, I have read so many books as well as contributing articles that I have come to my own conclusions.
As an example, President Reagan was shot and was very ill a long time by a single assassin. His motive and connections were all thoroughly vetted and the actual shooting was captured by camera. I believe that President Reagan was shot by one person. Now does that mean the case is closed? Probably, however a tabloid could drag in some new fabricated material to sell an issue during a slow moving economic time. On balance, I do not believe that any more will probably come forward. So I tentatively say on that the case is mostly closed.
By now I hope that you can see that I am a very cautious type so my own personal findings will reflect that. So let’s begin.
- One of the causes was the poor security arrangements. What may have been great politically was a very poor arrangement for the security of the president. I would guess that Texas has more guns per capita than many states and that getting a rifle to shoot the president was probably very easy. This is not a second amendment issue here. One could argue that if many were in the crowd with perhaps the assassin could have been shot by someone in the crowd. All that I can say is that if we are a nation of guns, having a convertible driving down a street that has been advertised in the newspaper is ruinous. Supposedly at a certain speed it is awfully hard to kill a target. It is even harder if there is a bullet proof bubble top that could protect the presidential party. That was available in those days. Additionally, all the windows facing Delay Plaza should have been closed and those who were looking out the window should have their hands on the window to show that they do not have a weapon.
- The assailant was discussed too soon as the perpetrator. . In another way of saying it, the name and a picture of the shooter was named soon after he was arrested. He was filmed, taped, interviewed and left to be shot a few days later. The rifle was demonstrated to the press as that of the person of interest. Numerous people were allowed to talk with him after the shooting. We do not have any information about looking for others, once Oswald was pronounced the shooter. We were even told where he was being held and after the shooting the body was rammed into an ambulance that happened to be there. The main theme of the early reporting had the Dal Tech building being a potential shooting spot and there was a crowd running up the grassy knoll. All that was swept aside with the main story was a lone individual who was mentally ill and mixed up with Marxism. Further, there were numerous suits and others who had cameras in their hands during the shooting. What happened to those pictures?
- The report on the president‘s death was meant to calm the public and stop a world war. It may have also covered over the sloppy work of other agencies both before and after the shooting. The report was so full of errors and sloppy research and rushed to the public that it had two contradictory ramifications. . It got a report out to the public that research had been done and that it was thorough with numerous annexes attached to the report itself. So it did delay or calm the public so that war did not occur. On the other hand, the report had so many problems with it that as time went on, most of the public no longer believed that only one person was involved. It also caused a cottage industry of books on the assassination. After the Church committee of the mid 70’s on destabilization and killings/renditions in other countries, many in America lost their innocence about the power and intrigue of a large weapon heavy country. America is not inherently imperialist if you read your history, rather what countries are big and powerful at the time will do things so that they remain the status quo
- Once the assaination had calmed down and we drug our way through 64’ it was time to point fingers at some one. Some had 2 Oswald’s. Others had his head changed in the cemetery. Hundreds of outcomes came out with numerous shooters. You think that you have read it all and another comes forward. Some of the theories were quite interesting and others mundane. So, many would probably agree that Oswald had some connections to some one and that he did not do this in a vacuum.
- It is my time to point to who I thought did it. I have the first amendment right to say so and be sort of correct or terribly wrong so my GUESS is the following. President Kennedy was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. There may have been others at Dealy Plaza to help Oswald, but they did not have to shoot because in a few seconds, the President was dead. My only reservation is the bullet in his throat. That may have come from the area in front of Kennedy for a split second. That shot came from another marginal person who probably did not know Oswald. What tied them together was a strategy often used. Fall guys for security purposes do not know other fall guys. If one succeeds, they then are destroyed and the world is changed. Who probably tied them together was the mob.
The mob spent a lot of time and money to elect President Kennedy perhaps through his father Joseph. Once in office, the mob was never more harassed then by Robert F. Kennedy. The mob did not do so much for a candidate to have this happen. Additionally, it is believed that the mobsters owned a great deal of Cuba in the Bay of Pigs, Kennedy did what he said he would do to Allen Dulles, he would not surprise attack another country with air cover. Last JFK lost control of his government in terms of the police, military and spooks. The mob wanted security and stability in government and they wanted Cuba. Kennedy had to go.
So who did it? Oswald and the mob were the ones. Could it have been someone else? Of course, you are reading a hypothetical scenario and actors. You can read other material and the information that I have in my archives. At least, you have my answer.
